Sounds good. I'm in. I'm assuming lineup changes will be allowed to sub in our bench players if needed?

In the past I have completely locked all actions by managers after the draft. This way you can grade yourself at the end of the year by seeing how well your team performed and if you did a good job of drafting reliable players. With the lineups locked, this eliminates any temptation of wasting your time and actively managing a mock team during the season.

If most of the participants want the rosters unlocked then I am fine with doing that. It's not a big deal either way

Yeah, locking the rosters is fine. I'm not looking for another league to manage during the season. I'm just wondering why the bench spots are necessary if everything is going to be locked.

i dont understand how looking back at a locked team at the end of the year is going to be an effective tool. :-?

The only reason I have the bench is to get practice in the later rounds of drafting. Last year I was able to snag Verlander and Hanley Ramirez in the last few rounds of the draft. It can be useful seeing who gets drafted in the last few rounds, especially with middle relievers.

Like I said, it's not a big deal either way. Locking the rosters is mainly to prevent the temptation of wasting time on making roster moves in a mock draft league.

If it was a different night of the week I'd do it.

Also, this should probably be over in the Classifieds forum.
