From the fantasy perspective, I'd rather Matsui win the ROY, because he's just another outfielder. If he got the hype rather than a valuable lower-class shortshop like Berroa, we'd be better off.

Agree here too. First I was surprised that Berroa won, even tho he had better stats (except for RBI) than Matsui.
Even saying that, Matsui would not have been a bad pick at all. I don't mind the whole "is he a rookie or not thing"
BUT--Webb was so much better, and meant so much more to his team than D-train did. Sure Willis was fun and a huge spark, but what Webb did w/ Schilling and Unit down was unbelievable.

Sure, at the beginning of the year, but once Dontrelle got rolling, all the attention shifted to him. It's clear with the numbers that Dontrelle is 3rd to Webb and Pods.
