Berroa beat out Hideki Matsui in the closest AL vote in 24 years, while Willis was an easy winner over Milwaukee outfielder Scott Podsednik.
I'm glad Berroa won, but Webb should have won in the NL. Willis took a dive. I think he won because of A) the hype, B) the World Series, and C) his start. No one realized how bad he sucked at the end of the year...

As much as I think that Webb was the most deserving, I have to say that from a fantasy baseball perspective I couldn't be happier. As I posted elsewhere, this means that Webb will be flying under the radar for those of us paying attention. Watch Willis get grabbed well before Webb in many of your leagues.
Good times!

That is a GREAT point Ramble.
Especially for leagues like mine, where a majority of the owners go off name recognition when drafting.
Hopefully he'll slip to everyone here and be the mid-late round steal he can be.
Props to Berroa. I thought it was going to go to Matsui. Glad that Berroa got the hardware for his efforts.
Ramble's right about Webb being a nice sleeper in a lot of drafts next year , but in all honesty, I would have rather seen him or Podsednik win. Willis really slid in the second half. I'm dissappointed with the voters for going with the hype instead of the numbers on this one.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
