very, um, humid starting pitchers

Last year with the emergence of Brandon Webb, Chien-Ming Wang, and others, was the year of the groundball pitcher.

Now I'm wondering, with MLB talking about putting humidors in every ballpark (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/w ... index.html), might this be an opportunity to target fly ball prone pitchers?

No, because the humidor effect will be small or no because fly ball pitchers are bad people?

I mean, a fly ball pitcher in Minnesota or Anaheim or other spacious ballparks tends to do better than a ground ball pitcher.

I've wondered if there's a correlation between humidity or air pressure and pitching. It seems like a no-brainer, that something flying through the air would depend on the flavor of the air for some 'bite' or lack thereof.
