Doubt it. Not that I wouldn't like to see him here but there isn't a lot of money left to spend. Everyone and their mother is a free agent next for the Cards. Plus Pujols is going to get a serious bump in pay.

yes, but Luis has said in a couple of interviews, that he would love to play with his friend, Edgar Renteria. And now STL needs a 2b ... I can honestly see it as long as the teams from the Northeast (all of them) don't get into a bidding war.

I will say that hiring Boras, actually hurt his chance of going to the STL. But then there is rumors now that he didn't actually hire Boras..

how about Hart's defense; i'm not saying i know jack whether he'll be there or not.. but he saved alot of runs with his defense..

there is the posssibility of a soph slump.. but there is also the poss of him getting his feet wet and improving on his offense..

as i said i dont know jack about him, but i thought i'd add to the confusion then again maybe i'm just blowing smoke

I'm not just guessing that Hart will be the starter, it's fairly certain. He will be the starter. He is a great defensive 2b, and they feel they can make up for his offensive struggles with their lineup.

Yep Hart is going to be the starter barring injury. Yes the Cards could use a leadoff hitter but they desperately need some pitching. That is the #1 target in the offseason.

2B Bo Hart (.277, 64-12 strikeout-walk ratio) -- Started off at .400-plus before leveling off. Showed more range and defensive prowess than expected and probably will be the starter next year.

The Cardinals need a 2b who can lead off, but they have bigger needs in the rotation and bullpen.
