Does he get playing time in Chicago this year? Crede has a bad back, and with Pods down with injury Fields has been working out in LF too. He strikes out a ton, but he's been working hard this offseason from what I hear. What can we expect from this former Big 12 quarterback?

actualy the plan of right now is erstad starting in LF and brian anderson in CF. this could change based on injuries or a bad spring. i would look for ryan sweeney to get first crack at CF if anderson falters before fields. fields only shot of making it are a crede injury or if he tears the cover off the ball in spring and they have no choice to start him in lf and move erstad to cf.

LOL I can't believe Erstad is still starting.
