Kind of dumb ipod question.

There should be an icon in the bottom right of your start menu that shows a gray box and green arrow. If you double click that, you can stop the iPod and disconnect it without having to shut down.

Same here :-D

Though I think I may be getting a new IPod Nano this weekend because my Mini keeps shutting itself off every two seconds - it says there is no more battery power even though the bar is full. :-t

For us people who doesn't want to spend money to by an Ipod every 3 years.

The Ipod Icon should be found at the left side of the Itune below ITune Store, Purchased and above all the Playlists. Make sure you have installed Itune before getting any music on your Ipod. And have gone through the initiation process.

If you still don't find the icon. My suggestion is to reinstall the itune and try again.
