Tony La Russa is coming to Walnut Creek, California to hold I silent auction fund raiser at his newest ARF center today. And, he is bringing Dontrell and Pujols with him !!!!! I don't think I can pass this deal up . Is anyone else planning on going?
I'm in Texas so that's a little out of my way. Lol.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I ended up getting to meet Dontrelle . Hehe, hardly anyone knew who he was so there was no line to get his autograph.
I let him know that he gets my vote for Rookie of the Year. Then I asked him if, being a Bay Area native, he felt at all guilty about knocking the Giants out of the playoffs . And, he said he didn't feel bad at all ...not even a tiny .
Hehe, well anyways he was a really nice guy and now I am going to have trouble not bidding on him in my fantasy league .

I had that trouble when I met Raul Gonzalez of the Mets. He couldn't have been a nicer guy.
