What would ne your rating on Clay is he a #3 or should I look for better what do u think he will do this year

I'd take him as my #4 starter, but I'd defenitely want better from my #3.

Depends on the size of your league I guess.

I think you'll get incredible value from the guy and he will cost you peanuts. Then again, the more he's talked about, the higher his price gets...

He's DEFINITELY one of my targets.

he quietly had a nice year last year and is a good target when you're looking to fill out your pitching roster at the end of the draft. i wouldn't feel too good having him as my #3 though.

Ditto, great sleeper but I think he's more of a good 4 or excellent 5.

Clay had a great second half last season, but I'd be a little weary of him. His "sleeper" status has actually overrated him, in my eye, for '07, all while he has a worse defense behind him. For someone who relies fairly heavily on the defense behind him, having Sledge, Kouzmanoff, and Giles behind him instead of Roberts, Castilla/Blum, and Barfield could potentially hurt him. Also, Piazza isn't behind the plate this season, so he has to work with Bard and Bowen who he's probably not as familiar with. All things to consider for a groundball pitcher like Clay, but I still think he'll be a decent fantasy option, though I'd be more comfortable with him as my 4th or 5th.

at least all walks and singles wont turn into doubles then.

thanks all I would have to do is give up is my 23rd round pick for him so that I move I should diffently take a chance on then I re look at my keepers and he would be a 4 or 5 guy not 3 like i frist thought plus I will have 4 picks to up grade my team in the first 4 rounds of FA

No doubt I would give up my 23rd round pick for him. You have to do that without any hesitation.
