solid team...of course, your pitching needs help...maybe just player the waiver wire and just sit tight...howard, berkman, and holliday will give you lots of homers
You did well loading up on the talent that best fit the scoring system. Starting pitching could be weak. You may have hurt yourself grabbing 2 bench players before your second starter. Overall, good but as mentioned you will need to be active on the waivers for SP or may want to consider shopping thomas to someone who needs power.
Counting on some rebounding in the OF - Figgins needs some protection in that weak lineup and I dont see Matthews providing it. I think Burrell will bounce back this year, but I dont think it will be in Philly - if they can find a taker - they will have to eat half of his contract at least, so may not see a bounce there until June or so - he rest of your lineup is SOLID. Nice balance with your rotation... K's, W's, ERA, WHIP, S...excellent...think it would be good to ditch Hernandez and I dont expect much from Valverde... Is Wainwright still available on the wire??
I just signed Lowry and cut Livan.. (my last 5 picks, were not made by me, it was on auto because i had to leave, this draft took ridiculously long...) .... I decided to go mostly with the saves.. figuring i could keep the whip and era low.. but it does hurt me because you get 2pts for each inning... but we will see..
I took Thomas and Barfield before my 2nd pitcher bc i had grabbed closers... but i also kne that i have alot of chips to trade... be it any of my 1st baseman, thomas and Of ( i can move berkman out there), a 2b or some closers for starters.. i just think i have alot of flexability to improve without weakenin a spot in my line up..
