Sounded odd to me, too. MLB lists him at 210. Yahoo has him at 210, too.
I take Cabrera. Best bat outside of Pujols. Look at the team around him, I would be slightly pissed and immature at times too.
ESPN also has him listed at 210. Although they also have Big Papi listed at 230.

i know cabrera is a great hitter, but his defense is sub par and he doesn't seem to play hard all the time. it's between wright and sizemore for me

Whoever picked Mauer has no idea what he is talking about.

We've had Wizard of Oz getting more votes than Blizzard of Ozz in a music battle

That's interesting perspective. I asked this question on a different forum and Mauer was by and far the most popular choice, and I regard their opinions on the same level as I do here at the Cafe, for general baseball. The argument can be made that Mauer is the most unique of the three; a Catcher of his ability and potential can be a once in a generation thing, while we have two of the four players listed playing 3B and an OF, of which, studs are more fairly common. So, under the presumption that Mauer remains a C for the long haul, and given both his offensive and defensive capabilities, there's certainly nothing to scoff at in picking him, or any of the other 3 blokes here. Hope you like crow.
