Yeah, the more I think about it, I may have been thinking with my fantasy mind rather than my real baseball mind. The steals just aren't as useful in real baseball, and Miggy is a frickin beast with the stick.
Dunno. It would be a tough choice.

Miggy because of versatility and unselfishness. No baggage with this guy.

i went with miggy but i thought about sizemore. i think cabrera is the best bat but his immaturity somewhat worries me. sizemore is a pretty good bat a premium defensive position.

Cabrera already hits like a Hall Of Famer at the tender age of 24, the sky is the limit for this kid. I dont see how you could pass up on Cabreras abilities and potential for any of these other choices even though they are all great young players as well.

Hardball Times has posted some studies showing that player size predicts future performance. Young guys who are smaller do not have as long a growth, as bigger guys.
According to baseball reference:
Wright is 6', 200 pounds
Sizemore is 6'2", 200 pounds
Mauer is 6'4" and 220 pounds
Miggy is 6'2", 185 pounds.
And I'm not sure how anyone can say Wright has more overall athletic ability than Sizemore.

There is no way Miggy is 185. He has to be over 220. He also looks taller than 6'2".
I agree that Wright is not more athletic than Sizemore. Wright looks sorta dumpy actually.

Sounded odd to me, too. MLB lists him at 210. Yahoo has him at 210, too.
