When you all say 8/2 or 7/3, that's anywhere in the first ten picks? I'm starting to consider going all bats the first 7 or 8 rounds then clean up on arms after that. I usually go 3 bats, then an arm, an elite RP around 6/7 and my second SP around 8/9. I'd feel pretty damn good if my top 3 SP were, say, Dice K, Kazmir, and Cain.

I think that's rounds, not picks. :-?

my bad, I should have clarified. I meant my first ten picks, so yeah - 10 rounds.

So where do closers fit in to this 7/3 strategy?

Under the LIMA plan, I believe closers are lower in priority although you want to shoot for breakout closer candidates. Last year a LIMA plan person might've aimed for Chris Ray and guys of that ilk when picking closers.

I could be wrong on all of this, but that's the feeling I got from it.

So is this used for H2H exclusively? You can't really punt saves in roto, at least in my experience.

I wouldn't put Brandon Webb in tier 1.

I think you should put Webb in Tier 1, but I'd put him last of those guys, after Peavy and Zambrano...

You're really talking about Tier 2 considering Santana is all alone in Tier 1... but I too am having hard time ranking this tier! I like Carpenter the most, and prob Oswalt second most... but then it's a toss up

Carpenter
Oswalt
Peavy
Webb
Halladay
Zambrano
