They called for a huge storm for us, but it was mostly rain and maybe an inch of snow. But all the water and slush did freeze solid, so it pretty much sucks in SE Massachusetts today.
Wow, we've had little or no snow all year. Other parts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine got a lot this time but I don't think they've had much snow this year either.

ya think? I don't consider myself a liberal but this is right up the scientific alley. There sure is something to this climate change/global warming in that it causes crazy weather patterns.
Yeah, snow in Feb is crazy. Totally out of the realm of possibility. Since when does it snow in the Winter? I mean, we should be breaking out the bathing suits instead of the snow shovels. I just waxed my surf board thinking it was a great time to ride a big one when instead I should have waxed my skiis. I don't know if I can get used to it being cold in the Winter and hot in the Summer. The concept is beyond me.
I know, right? All these highs/lows weather with ice storms and heat waves is completely normal and expected.
Things are looking pretty good here in Arizona. The girlies are peeling off their winter clothes and strutting around in tank tops and short-shorts again.

Imagine this, today we had blackout at work (I didn't cause it). Power was out for four hours. Almost everyone got to go home early. I had to wait for my back up, who arrived four minutes early.
I guess I got my 'West Coast Snow Day'.

Once I finally manage to get on the highway I said "screw this" and turned around and went home. I'm the IT guy; no is even going to be there let alone having computer problems. So I'm working from home today.
Took you and hour and a half to decide not to go in? If I went to all the trouble of spending an hour to get the ice off my car and another half hour to get out of the parking space, I might as well just go to work.
Seriously; but then I work another 30 minutes away and I was frustrated enough to decide not to risk my life so I could tell someone their Cd-Rom tray isn't a cup holder.
Are you serious? The CD-Rom try isn't a cup holder?MAybe thats why my comp runs so slow now......
