dynasty league top 10

i'm starting a dynasty keeper league this year (10 teams). what would be your first round? I should note that the league penalizes strikeouts, so mine is:

Vlad
Reyes
Ortiz

Cabrera
Teixeira
Beltran
Wright

Doesn't make sense that Cabrera is rated so low. IMO he should be no. 2, especially if this is a dynasty league. I would also take Tex and Wright off the list and get Crawford and Howard on there. While Vlad is in his 30s now, he strikes out rarely and is still a beast and should remain that way for the next few years.

well, i have crawford right outside my top 10. but i just cant buy into howard just yet. he did have one incredible season, but 181 k's! eesh. i actually had fun comparing howard and tex. i think both had fluke power years and project both to hit about 45 this year. if i'm correct its a no brainer to have tex ranked ahead. how can pujols go #3 in a k league?

interesting point about cabrera though. that has been the toughest part in my ranking process, balancing this year's stats vs the future. any other input here?

Vlad is actually much more valuable in strike-out leagues because he never does.

i can understand moving cabrera up to #2. but he and wright are pretty close in value, potential and age.....if you move up 1 dont you have to move the other up as well?

I would disagree that Wright possesses as much current value or potential as Cabrera.
