LoDuca-Bust- He is never going to hit for power. The only thing he has is a good avg.
Klesko-Rebound- Healthy+Giles=big numbers
Sweeney-Rebound- All depends on the injuries but if he is healthy I want him on my team.
Alomar-Bust - The wheels have fallen off
Durham-Bust - Pac isn't the easiest place to hit and he isn't getting any younger
Spivey-Rebound - He picked it up in the 2nd half. Won't be a great player but will be good
Aurilia-Bust - see Durham
Rollins-Rebound - If Bowa is fired and a SB happy manager is hired look for his value to skyrocket
Alfonzo-Rebound
Glaus-Rebound - Health
Hinske-Rebound - Health
Burrell-Rebound - He can't be any worse could he?
Floyd-Bust - Shea is were player's careers go to die
Gonzalez-Bust - headcase and injury plagued
Williams-Bust - I like Bernie but he is getting up there in age

I like that list with 2 exceptions:

Aurilia will underachieve in my opinion.

Glaus will be very rusty. Maybe buy low at the break.

I think edgardo will rebound. He will go deep into a draft and canbe had for peanuts. If he stays in SF he'll be ok also.It took him most of the year to figure out how to hit there.Otherwise i like the original list from above.

Tribe bounce back????

Postby HalosFan » Thu Nov 06, 2003 8:02 pm

My league is looking to use a 28 team format. Tribe is the leading canidate to be dropped, (along with Det).

Anyhow, watch out for Glaus, Aurillia, Alfonzo, I can see huge comeback years happening here.

while i agree the giants on that list will not bounce back, i think glaus will power the ball again. expect his usual #'s, Low avg, high HR.

It's funny, too. I drafted him in the 4th round this past season after that clinic that he put on in the World Series. He was just spectacular.
