that's a shame if Sweeney is truly going to be hampered by injuries from here on out. I really thought he could be something huge.
the reason berroa is going under my radar is that to me he is a candidate for a sophomore slump. at least speed doesn't slump, but hopefully his 2nd half steals are more telling than his 1st half.
jose valentin does that every year. the reason he goes under people's radar is because they know what he's going to do for the most part every year and there's not much upward mobility there. he's getting older and his avg/obp seem to be slipping from their already low standards. all that being said, if you need some HR from an IF position, he can be a big deal.
