Chavez, Blalock or Ensberg..who makes a comeback?

I'll admit to being a Ranger homer, but I like Blalock. He had real shoulder trouble and a real problem with Buck. Both of those problems were cleared up this winter. Ron Washington has made him his personal project. I think Scott Rolen numbers are very possible.

btw, I say Blalock, Ensburg, Chavez.

blalock is cooked. he will never return to the numbers he put up in 04. chavez is a little more proven so a return to excellence seems more possible for him. ensberg has shown flashes here and there and had one monster year but there just isnt enough to fall back on to support a bounceback theory.

None of the above, I don't see any of them coming back strong. A lot of people claim 3B is deep but it really isn't this year, there are a great 5-6 players but after that it drops off really fast and isn't looking that much better than 2B to me.

I think relative to where I have seen them taken and ranked, Ensberg will give you the best value. Chavez is still getting some love, and though I think he will have a nice year, Ensberg will be comparible and cheaper.

if chavez can stay healthy all year, i bet he slugs close to 40 homers...
i'd pass on the others though.

The fact that Blalock can't hit lefties is very concerning. I've tried to stay away from him in all of my drafts. Chavez will produce but like RynMan said, Ensberg will produce just as much and come at a cheaper price.

With saying all that, shoot for Ensberg and Chavez. Stay away from Blalock.

I see Ensberg making the biggest comeback hitting behind Berkman and Lee, I see some serious production numbers.

Chavez I think will be better maybe 20-25 HR, 80 RBI, .275-.280 AVG.

I do however see relatively the same season for Blalock.
