He is supposedly 100%--but I think everyone is in the best shape of his life in February.

I like Quentin a lot this year, especially in OBP leagues.

Jeremy Hermida - He was simply unreal in the minors. I expect last year's slow start was a fluke. I think he will be big toward the second half of this year.

Mark Teahen- Personally I still need to see more, but most experts say this guy has finally put it together.

Ryan Zimmerman - I like him. I feel he can be a steal on draft day.

John Patterson - I think hes back. This guy has ridiculous stuff, his injury was fairly serious but ST will tell all on him.

JJ Hardy - Meh, I had him in dynasty and dropped him. Hes a solid defender, but when it comes to fantasy this guy is very average, he'll get you 15 HRs with a solid 80 RBIs and a .275 average but nothing more.

jorge cantu - If he is at full health he has a chance at 35 HRs, 100 RBIs, and a TON of strikeouts

Derek Lee - Health Plays a role here as well The lineup is finally looking good now so his RBIs should look very good assuming the wrist is ok, stay tuned for ST.

Ryan Shealy - Amazing in the minors, now that he has a role I don't think 30 HRs within a few years is out of the question. Remember his lineup though.

Carlos Quentin - Raw talent. This guy needs another year I think. I see a bright future.

Nick Markakis - I never was a believer. Hes a Jay payton.

Matt Garza - Really haven't seen much of him last year.

Gary Sheffield - Gotta wait for health issues in ST. If healthy this guy is a masher and expect 3rd round numbers if over a full season (35 HRs, 120 RBIs)

¿Qué? Don't get me wrong; I like Hermida. But I don't see how his minor league numbers are "unreal." He only hit .283, he only slugged .430, and despite his vaunted plate discipline, he only walked 0.84 times for every strikeout. I think Hermida is a fantastic player, but let's not go overboard yet again.

And that brings me to my next point: Why do you like Hermida so much and not like Markakis at all? Both were highly touted prospects. Markakis' plate discipline isn't as good, but he still posted a very respectable 0.69 BB/K ratio. He also posted the superior slugging percentage. Then Markakis jumps to the majors with just 124 AA at bats under his belt and just 350 Advanced A at bats before that, and he not only survives, but he succeeds as well.

I don't pretend to think that either is a great slugger, but I think that both are professional hitters. I can see someone not liking either player, but how someone can like Hermida, who fell flat in his rookie season and in some respects actually has the inferior minor league track record, over Markakis, who exceeded expectations by a great deal, I find somewhat boggling. Is there a particular reason you have for this?

I'm a little concerned about this guy. Not so much about his injuries, but about the whole thing about his daughter. She has some sort of disease that causes blindness I think and it was really hurting him towards the end of last year. It seems like the kind of thing that could have him see some time out, or play on his mind the whole season. Couldn't be easy to produce with that kind of emotional stress.
