Going along with the old FPS theme I'll go with the game that came out just a tad too late for it's time. Quake was the rage and this great game kinda got forgotten.

You got it. Almost better than Doom yet hardly anyone knew. It was the last game made using the core doom engine but it's problem was it came out a month or two AFTER Quake so they got screwed. Awesome game though.
