top 500 prospects list

I have seen a few top 100 rankings, but not a top 500. I am going into a 2nd year prospect draft and need deeper rankings, has anyone seen a top 500 list?

I am going to release the cafe community rankings in about a week and that should have about 125 guys on it. That is probably the most you will ever see on a list.

For drafting for a really deep draft i would take high upside guys like the internationals who got signed over the summer and high school power arms from last june draft..

john sickel's minorleagueball.com has top 30 lists for each team. he gives out letter grades. you could sort that out to sort of a top 500.

Thanks for the replies fellas....I will probably go with Sickels team lists...should at least give me a fairly deep list to go by deeper in the draft.

I saw this top 500 for 2006. I am not sure if they will do one for 2007. Again these rankings are for 2006 so they are probably useless.

Yes, OnDeckBaseball, referred to in the above post, has done a Top 500 for at least the past 2 years. But this site hasnt posted an entry in almost 3 months, so I dont know if he'll be doing a list this year, or if he does it may be too late for your drafts.

Rotoworld does a Top 150 list every year, and Scout.com did one last year, so that's a little deeper anyway. But you can get some 'deeper' prospects by looking at BA's League Top 20's and Team Top 10's. The scouting rpts are subscriber content, but the lists themselves are not.
