Does he get back on the juice and start tossin gems again? Guy could be a big time sleeper if he gets back on Grim's juice and can dominate again.
Win 2 more and then we'll talk.

I'm thinking he's going to be a semi-stud this year. The NL West is considerably softer than the AL East, and he's going from a place where he was resented and unappreciated back to the state where he's respected and adored. You know that's gotta count for something. I'd say a conservative estimate of his numbers (assuming he starts around 28 games) are about-

13 wins, 3.5 ERA, 180 K's, 1.25 whip

That's my conservative estimate. The homer in me wants to say

15 wins, 3.2 ERA, 210 K's, 1.10 whip

Regardless, I'm just thrilled to have the old SOB back. Chances are we're not going to be making a run at a division title this year, but at least the fans have a familiar face to look forward to seeing take the hill every 5 starts.

By the way, what's with the mention of RJ and the juice. Why even bring that crap up. :-t

RJ would be the last person that I would suspect of being on roids.

Thank you! ;-D

Sucks to hear RJ's starting the season on the DL.. no matter how they try to paint that all rosey, it's still not a good sign.

Well I don't think they want to rush him back, so thats why they are probably putting him off the DL right off the bat.

Yeah, I know. I'm just being cautiously optomistic.

What do you think about my projections for RJ, Guru?

I agree with them for the most part. I think his era will be a little higher then that though.

newbie here, but a huge d'backs fan.

I like the RJ trade.

I think he'll win 14 Games, possibly 15.
