I'm thinking he's going to be a semi-stud this year. The NL West is considerably softer than the AL East, and he's going from a place where he was resented and unappreciated back to the state where he's respected and adored. You know that's gotta count for something. I'd say a conservative estimate of his numbers (assuming he starts around 28 games) are about-
13 wins, 3.5 ERA, 180 K's, 1.25 whip
That's my conservative estimate. The homer in me wants to say
15 wins, 3.2 ERA, 210 K's, 1.10 whip
Regardless, I'm just
thrilled to have the old SOB back. Chances are we're not going to be making a run at a division title this year, but at least the fans have a familiar face to look forward to seeing take the hill every 5 starts.
By the way, what's with the mention of RJ and the juice. Why even bring that crap up.
