A fair weather fan huh? It is a shame that you can't stick with your team through the good times and the bad times. Oh well most already knew that the Sox fans were the most fickle of any teams fans in baseball.

Im sure the Sox were one of the worst teams in the league at some point in there history. We have been a team for only 9 years and now finally have a good owner and ownership group, give us some time with the new guys and we will be fighting in the AL East

Basically Red Sox nation goes to sleep and can't be found after a few losses or a bad loss to a rival. The cafe is usually missing several guys the day after the Sox lose out the playoffs or a bad loss to the Yanks. I guess there is nothing wrong with it, as I have a few good friends that are the same way. One is a huge Sox fan, and after they get beat out of the playoffs, I can't find him for several days, when I usually talk to him every day. Of course he is the same way after a Duke Blue Devils basketball loss.

Yep we pretty much have sucked for the last 9 years, but I imagine the next 9 years will be a bit different.

Yep. They have been the one of the worst teams in the league during 2 decades. The 20s and 60s. So I guess it shows even the great teams can struggle for several years at the time.
