I had a couple questions about the Texas Rangers, hopefully you guys can fill in some blanks.

Any rumblings about Gagne yet?
What's the word on McCarthy, could he dip below a 4 ERA?
I love Otsuka, and I'd assume he'd replace Gagne if he can't hang right?

Otsuka is CL2 for all intents and purposes. Whether Gagne will come in looking like the Gagne of old or not remains to be seen. Our GM has said they've done their medical due diligence on him and that he should have no limitations, physically. I guess we'll see.

I'm excited about McCarthy, but have no idea how he will adjust to his new venue. I didn't follow most of his comeuppance, either. Maybe someone more in tune w/ Chicago's farm can speak about him and whether his style suits or doesn't suit The Ballpark.
