Age consideration while drafting?

I try to shy away from the 35+ crowd. It's typical to see batters peak at 33, of course with exceptions, but that's the norm in my eyes.

Pitchers are a little different. Young guys are good, but they haven't yet found their limitations and tend to have more arm troubles because they're throwing more innings and throwing a lot harder. So i try to aim a little bit older in pitchers.

I used to read about the age 27 peak theory - but those studies are based on guys who played since 1900. I think recently with better training, nutrition, and such that guys peak closer to 29 or 30 and can maintain better thru their early 30s (the Yankees lineup is a good example of guys in their early 30s who are still at the top of their game - Jeter, A-Rod, Matsui, Damon, Abreu)
