how much of a difference is there between duffy and gathright? gathright usually isn't drafted, and they both have sorry averages, albeit gathright is worse at average.

well if he plays a full season i think hes a lock for 30, and also certain to approach 40....but his avg could be very low.

My sleeper for 40+ steals is Lofton.

Pirates Projected Lineup (When/if Sanchez is healthy)

1. CF Duffy
2. SS Wilson
3. 2B Sanchez
4. LF Bay
5. 1B LaRoche
6. RF Nady
7. 3B Bautista
8. C Paulino

I think you've got the bottom of the line-up wrong (not that it matters for Duffy purposes). I think Bautista will hit 8th for sure...Paulino and Nady will flip flop in 6th/7th based on who's hitting better.

Yeah because apparently they have so many better options. ;-7

I know a few that hit better in camp. Batting .163 (7-for-43) thus far in camp isnt all that great.

Got to love it when someone saves an old thread just to bring it up later.

i am debating on this as well. duffy can fly given his steal totals in august and september....victorino made a huge error already.

im leaning towards duffy as a #4 OF for steals only. anymore opinions? :-)
