I took it the other day and I still don't get why (K/BB) is at the top for evaluating pitchers. I know it is a very good tool for future predictions but WHIP seems like a much better evaluation tool.

Yeah, that's what I said as well. I mean, K/BB means absolutly nothing without the "/IP" thrown in as well. Pitchers are tough because there is no OPS equivalent (well, maybe DIPS ERA or something like that) stat that takes into account most of a pitcher's production.
