All data & stats point toward oswalt for 2007. When I think about it clearly, there are 2 other pitchers I would choose for 2007 before halladay but not oswalt, and they are peavy & webb. They both provide more k's and pitch in weaker divisions than halladay.

I may put Webb over Halladay but probably not. I am very concerned about Peavy's workload/shoulder. Scary actually.

I'd go with Oswalt. His declining K rate is a bit unsettling, but he's still been awfully solid the past couple years even with a lower K rate than earlier in his career. With Halladay, I don't really know what to make of his drop in K/9 in 2006.
