aki also drew 2 BB and scored 1 R while going 0-2, we only need him to get on base and he has been very patient at the plate so that is a good thing

also Shields had a nice outing going 5.1 IP with 2 ER allowed and 6 K with only 4 base runners aloud

2.60 ERA for Shields, he pitched a bit to many fly balls but it didn't come back to bite him which was good

Joe Maddon believes that Rocco will be fine and should only miss a couple days and will be in the starting lineup on Apr 2, but Rocco is not as optimistic. Rocco has said he is not sure how long he will be out and how bad this pull is.

In the meantime Dukes and Upton will be playing CF

Rocco is out running around and shagging fly balls at the moment. He prob will not play, but it is good to see him running around and working with the team.

Cantu may be Cut and Gomes may be sent down to AAA

These were things discussed the other day. Cantu is on the Bubble especially with BJ playing the way he is. Gomes has responded since being told there was a chance that he could start in AAA with some HR, but i am still not impressed
