Robert Fick - 1B - Atlanta Braves Nov 7

Braves released first baseman Robert Fick.
The Braves indicated last month that they wouldn't offer Fick arbitration. This sets him free a month earlier than expected.

well it can't be Franco alone......that much I know.

Don't be surprised if Julio Franco is celebrating his 46th birthday next August

I thought he celebrated his 46th in Mexico a couple of years ago..... :-b

LaRoache and Franco.... :-? ...something tells me they will need more....

Well, they'll have three third basemen if necessary....Adam LaRoche, Julio Franco and Mike Hessmann, who made his major league debut last year.....But I agree that's not gonna be enough... So now we now Fick won't be back.... ;-)

Okay, is it just me or does Julio Franco look like he's got to go to the bathroom when he's in his batting stance? I live in Atlanta now and have the opportunity to see his pretty often and it's very hard not to yell out "Donde esta el bano?" and "Oh, mi estomacho." Sometimes I'll yell "El burrito no es bueno."

Am I the only person that sees this?

Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
