Drafting Now

So this is our 2nd year of prospect drafting so guys like Young, Gordon, Hughes, Wood, and Upton are gone.. So i have the 10th pick of the 1st round and this is how the 1st round has gone so far..

1.1 - SP Homer Bailey
1.2 - SP Tim Lincecum
1.3 - SP Andrew Miller
1.4 - SP Clayton Kershaw
1.5 - SP Adam Miller
1.6 - SP Yovani Gallardo
1.7 - 3B Evan Longoria
1.8 - OF Jay Bruce

so there is one more guy ahead of me so these are the best possible guys there are..

Carlos Gonzalez
Scott Elbert
Fernando Martinez
Jose Tabata
Nick Adenhart
Luke Hochevar
Adam Lind
Joey Votto

Just some names.. So who should i pick right now considering my only prospect in Joel Guzman..

Out of those options, I'd take Carlos Gonzalez then Scott Elbert. If you want to be a little riskier, Tabata or Martinez would be good options, but those guys will take some time to develop.

i picked Verlander who i traded for Sheets and a pick upgrade and Kinsler u i traded for Cain and a pick upgrade.. I don't think i lost on those picks there

Take Cameron Maybin if he is there. Otherwise take Carlos Gonzalez.

Of the ones you listed, it's either Gonzalez or Brignac, take your pick. But Maybin also is worth considering. And what about Matsuzaka, Chris Young and Tulo? If Matsu's available and eligible, I'd take him. If not, I'd take C. Young, since he'll be starting all year. Ditto w Tulo if Young's not available.

I would be careful about drafting a "batboy" while some of those guys are aviable.
