Yeah, Peavy, Zambrano and Webb are all pretty close. I really can't argue taking Peavy over those two.

If you glance at 3-year totals, averages, or most saber statistics, Peavy should be ranked just ahead of Zambrano, both of whom should be a tier above Webb.

But if you consider the fact that Peavy's arm might fall off this year, maybe he should be behind CZam and Webb... I'm just saying... ;-)

FWIW I have him ahead of them both, but it's close. ;-D

Keep in mind that I also then tweak the rankings myself so this isn't a straight up compilation of these sources.

Thanks Ironman. If you don't mind letting us know as we go along if you add any more sources that we would be great. Great list!!!

I know you said you weren't going to publish the standard deviation stuff, but is there any chance you will compile an overall ranking with all of the players?

I just started work on this. If I complete a compiled overall ranking though it'll probably be a one-time deal without any updates.
