Holliday easily over Vlad, Bay, Beltran, etc. Not even close IMO. (Assuming, of course, he stays in Colorado). Hard to see how he's not the #1 OF unless perhaps you consider a speed guy like Crawford. Holliday could make a run at 340-38-135 this year and he's still only 27. Scary what a "career year" could be for the guy.

......looks like Pujols to me...who has been a top 2 pick the last few years. Holliday should be a top 5 pick next year if he's still in Col. And definately the #1 OFer taken.

It's not even the numbers this year that lead me to like this guy as a hitter. It's the fact that he is a good all around hitter (still K's a bit), 27 years old, surrounded by a stellar offensive lineup.....and oh yeah, plays in Coors field. What's not to like??

Man, seeing this thread actually makes me want to cry. I took Bay with my third pick of Holliday in TWO leagues this season. I actually did the math and would have made both final h2h matches if Holliday had been my guy instead.

Right near the deadline I (as a contender) traded away Miggy Cabs (to a rebuilder) for Holliday and Harang...but now he's carried me through the semi finals and first week of the championship...needless to say I have Mad Holliday love now too...I couldn't argue any OF other than him except a healthy Vlad to be the first at his position off the board

In all fairness it could have complete changed both drafts had you taken Holliday =)
