I am goingto give you a run down of where my draft is since it is an email draft. It should be fun for everyone to discuss and basically use this as a mock draft fromsome.

So far here are the picks in order

Alex Gordon
Joel Guzman
Homer Bailey
Phil Hughes <--My pick
Chris Young
Camerin Maybin
Billy Butler
Ryan Braun
Clay Buckholtz
Brandon Wood
Jeff Mathis
Giovanni Gallardo
Billy Rowell
Adam Miller
Fred Lewis
Felix Pie

I am five picks from now. Who would you say are the next best 5 players? A player cant be drafted if they do not have time in the minors or has major league exp. So DiceK andDelmon are out.

Andrew McCutchen
Jay Bruce
Tim Lincecum
Justin Upton
Andy LaRoche

Pretty quickly, I think those are the top five. The order is, to a large extent, up to you and your needs. If a 3B can help you now, I'd move LaRoche up, for example.

Also Upton was a keeper from last year

Then I'd go with Evan Longoria or Kershaw depending on need. Probably Longoria since you said you don't have a 3B. He won't produce next year, but is definitely a future contributor.

I'm not a huge prospect maven, but one of the things I look for is how close a guy is to his ceiling/producing in the majors. So, for me I don't want a McCutcheon (who almost certainly won't see any time this year, and maybe not next year either) as much as I want an Andy LaRoche...
That said, I think I like Longoria over Andy... and what Ryan Braun the 3B in Milwaukee?
