Then I'd go with Evan Longoria or Kershaw depending on need. Probably Longoria since you said you don't have a 3B. He won't produce next year, but is definitely a future contributor.

I'm not a huge prospect maven, but one of the things I look for is how close a guy is to his ceiling/producing in the majors. So, for me I don't want a McCutcheon (who almost certainly won't see any time this year, and maybe not next year either) as much as I want an Andy LaRoche...
That said, I think I like Longoria over Andy... and what Ryan Braun the 3B in Milwaukee?
