It appears that it is the same injury that Mac had. Unless I hear otherwise, I would expect Giambi to be back next year at full strength. Hopefully, he can lose his bad habits of this year.

P.S. At the time of the deal, I thought that Boone was an upgrade over Ventura (and I still do) but not at that price.
