I've heard the talks, but I didn't think it would really happen. How about it Boston fans? Would Remy be able to do it, and what are his chances of getting a shot?

Wasn't Little an old Sox farm hand?
Yepp..then he had a great run as a manager for the organization for a couple of season, got to game 7, made a difficult decision, and stuck with his best pitcher, and got his ass handed to him by the locals. If not Grady, then who would the Sox have to point fingers at. Surely wouldn't be Pedro or Manny? Even though there karma cost them the ............

I thought Manuel was the worst mgr. Little looks like John Mcgraw compared to him. Any mgr that demotes one of the best closers in bb (Foulke), over a couple bad outings, is shaky for me. Plus Chicago should have walked with the AL Central this year.

Manuel would be a good fit with the Sox since they don't have a good closer to demote.....
Oops. Did I just say that out loud?

Giving Remy the manager's job would be an amazing PR move because there isn't a soul in Boston who doesn't like him. However, I'm not so sure it will be the greatest baseball move the city has ever seen. I don't think it would be awful, but I don't expect it to happen either.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.
