Good Show to Watch

Postby pjalst » Mon Jan 29, 2007 11:05 am

I've been watching a show on Spike TV called Joe's vs Jocks. Pro athletes from different sports go up against regular guys in different events. It makes you appreciate the abilities of some of these pro athletes. They make it look so easy. The smack talking is the best part. ;-D

I've only seen 10 minutes of the show. Some jamoke challenged Goldberg to a golf ball driving contest where the nearest to the pin wins.

Well, the Joe picked Goldberg beacause he thought the big shoulders would hinder his swing. When Goldberg put the ball 2 feet away he looks at the Joe and screams "TAKE THAT, BITCH!!!"

I had to laugh.

Pros vs Joes :-D

But yeah it's a good show. I really liked the first season and I am glad it's back. I really enjoyed Randy Couture tooling the Joes in the Cage.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

The only time I saw it. John Rocker was throwing wild pitches to some dude in catchers gear. The joe's only job was to stop, not catch, one of the pitches. He failed. Although i think I could have thrown pitches by that pansy

I've only seen it a couple times, but it is enjoyable. I remember the episode where they were trying to tackle Herschel Walker. One guy actually was pretty good and got him down a couple times, but he just straight bulldozed the others. :-b

I liked the episode where one of the Joes cracked on Jose Canseco's steriod use. Canseco then proceeded to massacered the Joes in a HR derby then commented, " and that was without the juice".

Dude thats not even fair. Did they expect a normal dude to be able to even hit a baseball?
