Confused on batting average and era scoring ranges

i am setting up kind of a new scoring system here and it is h2h so I use the scoring ranges for batting avg and era. Can someone help me with what the ranges should be, I really dont know where to start.. Thanks.

Not really sure what you're asking. Could you be a bit more specific about the ranges?

Stat categories that calculate averages (such as BA or ERA) are intended for Rotisserie or Head to Head Category Based leagues. If you want to use them in Head-to-Head Points Based or Total Points-Based leagues, go to the Score Points Using Ranges page, list specific ranges and assign points to each.
This is the screen that I see when I do this. Now, I am not in a Rotisserie, I am in a h2h. The ranges are like this..... "From _____to______, award______points for every____era..."
This is used to batting average and era. Is there an alternative catagory that would work just as good. Such as hits for batters or earned runs for pitchers?
