Anibal Sanchez has some discomfort in his shoulder in his offseason throwing program in Venezuela and is scheduled for an MRI to check structural damage, according to MLB.com.

Sanchez threw off flat ground on Monday morning in Jupiter. After a 10-minute session, the right-hander said his shoulder was feeling good and that he is hopeful to be ready to pitch when Spring Training begins.

How is Anibal's shoulder doing?

No reports, but it doesn't hurt to have him as a guy you're not afraid to drop in case something does linger.

I have him as my 6th pitcher behind Peavy/Bonderman/Harden/Willis/Patterson.

Hopefully, he'll come through, but I don't expect him to carry my rotation by any means.
