which world series do you guys think was the best??? I would have to go with 97 because it was my first world series. :-D

Braves v. Min, 1991. Incredible pitching matchups, two teams that finished in last place the previous year, and Morris's 10 inning complete game was one for the ages.

I like, of course, 69 and 86. But I'm also a fan of the 1960 series: New York out-hit Pittsburgh 91 to 60, out-scored them 55 to 27, out-homered them 10-4, and out-pitched them with an E.R.A. of 3.54 compared to 7.11 and still managed to lose and send Mazeroski (sp) to the hall. Nice. And one more vote for 1991 and Jack Morris.

2001 was probably the best World Series I ever saw...86 was good but fills me with heartache...97 was also excellent.
