Community Prospect Rankings

Postby thedude » Fri Jan 26, 2007 9:13 pm

We did this last year and it was a lot of fun.

I need nine people to send me volunteer to send me their top 50 prospects (respond in this thread). I will then combine the lists with my own. We will then have a community prospect list.

A few things:

1. Sign up in this thread.
2. Please rank players 1-50.
3. Please include first and last name.
4. Please include MLB organization next to name.
5. For the sake of conformity, please do not include Japanese players. Matsuzaka would be #1 on my list, but I think it would be better and easier if we only included players who were either drafted in 2006 or played in the minor/major leagues last year. This way our list will not be skewed if some people do not include the Japanese imports. If you include a Japanese player I will not count him.
6. Please PM me your list. I will send you a receipt when I get it. Please wait at least 36 hours before resending you list.

If everyone can have their lists done and sent to me by February 15th that would be awesome. I can then tabulate the votes and post the list soon after that.

Thanks!

EDIT: Make sure your prospects have less than 50.0 IP and less than 130 AB.

i'll do it too
The one constant through all the years has been baseball. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again...This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again.
