Better 2nd round pick: Carlos Lee v Manny Ramirez

Whoops lol. Jeter vs El Caballo isn't really a fair comparison. I have Lee ahead in my prelimary rankings, because guys like Rollins or Tejada could produce on the same level as Jeter. It really depends on if guys like Bay, Sizemore, Holliday, or Vernon are gone. If they are all there then I like Jeter if you pick near the end of the round. There are too many ?s IMO to make a clear statement on who is better. However, if i HAD to id lean towards Lee.

Lee is at the very end of the 1st round(15 team draft) on my list right now, I think batting behind berkman and in that park will help him a good bit and push him up in value.

I have Manny and Lee ranked back to back in the OF, with Ramirez in the higher spot.

Still alot of baseball to play yet but ran across this thread while looking at some old threads. Got to say I'm glad I had Lee 1 spot ahead of Ramirez in my rankings this year.......

......Anyway, now I just jinxed Lee and Ramirez is going to go on his typical tear! !+)

Its fun to look back at what was said in the preseason....alot of good stuff out there.

Manny hasn't look good so far but his numbers are not that far behind Lee's. I still say Manny since he will go in a tear once the weather warms up more.

Yeah, Manny is due for his normal tear. I never said Lee was going to be alot better than Manny, just slightly, and he is that......so far.
