Looking to make what was a 5x5 roto league become a 6x6 roto league... just wanted to make sure that yahoo offered OPS as a scoring category with their free leagues.... anyone know offhand?

Yahoo has OPS as a cateogory. Our league just switched from OBP to OPS last year.

We just moved from AVG to OBP. Explain your move to OPS.

People in my league wanted to reward people for power (hitting doubles & triples) as opposed to just getting on base.

FWIW, my league uses total bases on OBP instead of HR and AVG.

we use OPS in our 6x6 league. however owners are starting to grip a bit and would rather want OBP because HR have a huge correlation to OPS, its just another cat for power guys. think of it this way a guy who has a .400 OBP over a guy that has a .300 OBP is waaay more valuable then a guy with .600 slugging over .500 slugging...and remember those add up...so if a guy who gets on base 30% of the time can still get .900 ops with a .600 slugging doenst seem as effiecent as a guy slugging .500 (which is still above average) and who gets on base wiht a .400obs (which is above average). guys have diff opinions on it, i just thinkg OBP would bring more balance to your league then OPS.
