If memory serves, he had 2: Iron Man and Iron Joe. Both were references to his consistantly leading the league in games pitched and wins during his career.

Well, I don't know if it was his fathers Iron factory, but it was an iron factory. If my memory serves, he didn't start pitching until his late 20s, working at the iron mill until then.

Also, did you know that he pitched 2 complete game shutouts in the same day?
