The best pitching season I have seen--and I'm 25--is Pedro in 99. But I know what Gibson did, especially in the playoffs.

But Pedro was SICK in 99. Absolutely sick.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

Yes he was. His 99 year he had a era+ of 245. Gibsons 68 era+ was 258. However, Pedros 00, with a era+ of 285, was the best ever. Pderos 00 era was 1.74, to his 2.07 in 99.

all the world series rings on pedro must be convinving you guys are right... i would NEVER allow this bum on my team.

current ml pitcher to pitch a big playoff game? lessee. how anyone can say anything other than JOSH BECKETT right now. i dont know.
althought ANDY PETTITTE is also a fair argument.
JOHNSON AND SCHILLING could also be argued but theyre getting old

why aren't more people saying Jack Morris. he threw 10 innings of shutout ball against the braves in game 7. i know that koufax and gibson among other all-time greats would be a better choice probably in the long run but i expected to see more votes for morris.
as for today probably prior.

Haha, ZING.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.
