Yes he was. His 99 year he had a era+ of 245. Gibsons 68 era+ was 258. However, Pedros 00, with a era+ of 285, was the best ever. Pderos 00 era was 1.74, to his 2.07 in 99.

why aren't more people saying Jack Morris. he threw 10 innings of shutout ball against the braves in game 7. i know that koufax and gibson among other all-time greats would be a better choice probably in the long run but i expected to see more votes for morris.
as for today probably prior.
