agreed ... He just became to expensive for my taste .... Sucks too cus' I have carried him for the last two years now....

Too expensive? Carried him? It sounds like a keeper league, but how can a guy get too expensive in a keeper league? Post season play doesn't raise his salary on your team does it? I'm probably missing something very obvious, but please enlighten me anyway. :-)

Nope the league I was thinking about is an auction draft ... Top pitchers go around $20.00 to $30.00 each, ie, Prior, Curt, RJ, Morris. I refuse to pay that.... I always try to grab quality in and around $10-$15 .. Beckett has always been nice at $10.00. He won't be $10.00 any more.......(260 cap)

Nope. He won't be $10 anymore. That makes sense. So it's not a keeper. That clears up a lot, thanks. ;-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.

You know ... come to think of it .... My team will look really different next season ... Since I grabbed Prior off wivers in '02 (luck), He and Beckett along with Maddux have been my anchors for two seasons..

yep, very different .. :-o

I've had Beckett on my keeper team since before he was drafted. I had roster room to take a chance and stash away a young arm for the future, and it came down to a choice between him and some guy called Mark Prior...

I figured their upside was similar, but Beckett's experience would help him make an impact faster. Needless to say, I've been feeling a bit foolish. :-)

I still like Prior more, of course, but maybe this decision won't seem so bad now...

Maybe. ;-)
