I think this is based on the French book the "big lie" or something to that effect. The book also says that we staged the attacks on the WTC, digitially rendering the photos (and somehow got all the news media to buy into it), and blew up the buildings ourselves. Now I hate GW Bush, but that's a lot of BS.
I live in DC, worked less than a half mile from the Pentagon. It was a plane.
