Bruce Bochy--great question for WR

Postby Transmogrifier » Fri Oct 24, 2003 9:34 am

Hey, WR, our eminent Padres Expert: What's the deal with Bochy? There's a lot of talk about him coming to Boston once we can Little.

What's he like? Does he deal well with miscontents? And can he handle a pitching staff? :-D
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

I'm obviously not Wrveres, but I would be surprised if Bochy goes anywhere. The Padres are looking good for next year. ;-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

dream on .... :-) Bruce is not going anywhere...The oraganization loves him and he has a ton of Job security ....He has had losing season's for what, 5 years in a row now? And when his contract came through last season, there wasn't even a second thought about bringing him back for the next couple of seasons.

Great players manager. who knows the game very well....

very underated manager. And a class guy.

example.... when the Padres walked Helton on his last at bat this season. Bochy went and apoligized to him, He told him that if he knew that he was one hit away from the "NL Batting Title" he would have never walked him. 8-o that is respect.... ;-D

And Col is obviouissly a divison rival.
