Looks pretty reasonable to me, if Jason Marquis and Ted Lilly are worth what they got (*cought cough*), El Torito should be due for a nice paycheck. It will be interesting to see how it goes for him.

Of course, the Yankees seems to be saving some money up too... :-?

They locked A-Ram down no problem and have been letting the money faucet run at full blast all winter. I seriously doubt they turn it off for Z.

They signed a one year deal to avoid the arbitration hearing.


You can't just "give him what he wants". You have to do what's best for the team, and I'm not just talking about for 2007 either.
