This is why I've never purchased a DVD. I don't understand the point in paying $20 for ANY movie... how many times can you watch a movie? Maybe a select few, but I go to people's houses and I see they have "The Perfect Storm" on DVD. I mean, seriously, how many times can you watch "The Perfect Storm?" Did they buy it after seeing the movie, or before? There's this dilemma... do I buy a movie I've seen and know I like, or do I buy a movie I've never seen only to possibly watch once and never watch again?

I can understand having an awesome home theater and having a small collection of action movies that show off your surround sound to other people, or some intellectual films as conversation starters, but if you have White Chicks in your DVD collection, nothing can save you.

netflix and a dvd burner. i buy a few dvds that i really like (like this set), but most are burned. some movies i watch repeatedly (20+ times). others i watch only once or twice but loan out to friends.

sigh...i've either bought or recieved everyone as a gift...they look really cool though...and i've bought my fair share of random movies, alot of them turn out to be good.

my downfall is the Criterion Collection, because they are always like $30 a pop
